Dometic Portico Air 180 S Installation

1. Firstly, unpack and unroll you awning on a mat or a dry surface.
2. Secondly, find the keder beading. Also make sure that the awning canopy is facing away from the caravan.
3. Thirdly, slide in the Portico Air 180 S through the opening of your caravan channel. Usually this is done from the front end of your caravan due to the relaxed slope.
4. Next, you need to position the awning accordingly so that it covers your door.
5. Once in position, adjust and peg your webbing straps to the floor. Ideally, about half a foot under the caravan to ensure tightness.
6. Lastly you need to inflate your new awning. Simply attach you desired pump on the bottom right hand corner.
7. Be careful not to over inflate your Dometic Portico Air 180 S. Also, refer to the Dometic inflation guide found here.
8. Above all, ensure your awning is secure with strong pegs without delay. In fact, we strongly recommend Dometic Hex Pegs.
