Thule G3 Residence Room Features
- Thule G3 Residence Room serves the purpose of accommodating Motorhomes, Caravans, and Vans.
- Formerly known as the Omnistor Safari Room, this system has undergone significant enhancements and improvements.
- Constructed with an aluminium structure, the side sheets of this room are securely held in place by roof bars that both clamp and suspend them.
- While a rubber backed profile ensures a tight seal between the side sheet and the vehicle wall. Firmly secure the two bars, a brace is employed.
- One notable advantage of this room is its quick assembly and disassembly.
- Unlike other rooms or tents, it remains stable even in windy conditions, eliminating the need for taking it down.
- The PVC material used is easy to clean and allows for the convenience of being put away wet.
- Once you return home, it can be properly aired out. To restore its appearance to a new-like state, a simple solution of washing up liquid is sufficient.
- For added comfort in hot conditions, ventilation is provided through windows in the side sheets. These windows can be rolled upwards to reveal a mosquito mesh.

Q: Will this room fit any brand of awning?
A: Unfortunately, the Thule G3 Residence Room is brand specific. Meaning this will only fit Thule wind out canopies.
Q: I have just purchased a second hand room, can i buy the brackets to make this fit?
A: Providing that you have bought the correct variation, yes. Please bear in mind that each set of side panels is made specifically for a certain model of awning. They can not be interchanged.
Q: Do you provide an installation and demonstration service?
A: Yes, this is a service we offer to all our customers. Our current rate is £120 for install & demo. And an additional £120 if you would like your provided skirt tailored to your vehicle.
Q: How long does this awning take to put up?
Roughly 15-20 minutes after the initial installation. Allow time for pegging and adjustments.

Honestly, the single best add on I have purchased for my little 6m Motorhome.
The quality of the product is second to none, as you come to expect from a name like Thule.
This provides much needed extra space for little vans, meaning I have the luxury of sitting up somewhere comfortable for a coffee in the morning if my travel companion decides to have a lie in. Takes a bit of getting use to the first couple of times you go to set it all up by yourself, but Dan really made it as easy as possible, adding additional stickers to the poles so you can easily identify left and right etc, and so far, even the major storm that’s swept through hasn’t done more than ruffle a few feathers.
Can’t recommend this highly enough! But would definitely recommend getting the fitting and demo.
