Thule Omnistor 1200 Awning Installation

Please note:

• A clear working environment is essential therefore, avoid sharp objects. Make use of a soft groundsheet and do not attempt when windy.
• Firstly, unroll your awning on the floor. This will give you maximum flexibility when feeding the awning in to your caravan rail.
• Secondly, with another pair of hands. Identify the opening of your caravan tracking. It is usually easier to slide in at the front of your caravan.
• Thirdly, once you have reached the desired location. Use your supplied stops to hold the awning in to place.
• Lastly, you can either roll your Thule Omnistor 1200 Awning back in to its bag. Alternatively, the awning is now ready to erect.
• This simple set up is why this is among the best of the Thule awnings for caravans.

Thule Omnistor 1200 Awning Operation

Please note:

Thule Awnings are designed for use in fair weather. Do not leave unattended and also use supplied pegs. Thule Side Strap Kit is thoroughly recommended.

Firstly, unroll your awning by unzipping the bag therefore releasing the straps. You are likely going to need x2 small steps and a second pair of hands.

Secondly, once unrolled get your assistant to hold the front of the awning. You are going to release the arms and legs stored inside the awning rail.

Thirdly, extend the awning leg to chest height and lock the lever. Now unclip the arm from the leg by releasing the catch at the bottom.

Lastly, extend the awning arm towards the awning bag attached to the caravan. You will hear a clicking noise as the arm is extended. Locate the arm inside the awning bag, you will notice a grey fitting.

Apply tension to the awning arm by activating the ratchet lever so the desired tension is reached.

Repeat on the opposite side, in addition peg to the ground and strap the awning down.
