The Mestic Seitz Bracket is the dedicated mounting upgrade for owners of caravans and motorhomes fitted with Dometic Seitz windows.

Standard Mestic split-unit brackets are designed to hang the air conditioner directly in a flush window opening, but Seitz windows sit in a noticeably deeper and raised frame.

This bracket is built deeper and taller than the standard version specifically so it can pass cleanly over that raised Seitz frame, giving you a secure, level fit without fouling the window surround.

This bracket is engineered to fit the Mestic split-unit air conditioner family: the SPA-3000, SPA-3100, SPA-5000 and SPA-5100.

The Mestic split system works by hanging the unit in the window aperture, with the slim condenser tubes running out through a window left slightly ajar — so a correctly fitting bracket is essential for both stability and a proper seal.

Why owners with Seitz windows need it

Seitz windows (such as the Dometic Seitz S4 and S7) are extremely common on European-built caravans and motorhomes. Adria, Bürstner, Hobby, Hymer and many others.

Their double-glazed acrylic panes sit in a chunky outer frame that the standard Mestic bracket simply cannot clear. Trying to fit a split unit without the correct bracket leads to an uneven hang, strain on the frame, and a poor seal around the tubes. This Seitz-specific bracket solves all three.
